My vision is to prepare students to lead productive and creative lives as global citizens. Students are encouraged to develop meaningful connections, to achieve, and always be, their best academically, socially, and artistically.
Students are the dreamers, designers, and creators of our future. It is in the best interest of humanity to raise healthy, curious, resilient children who learn from the past and make good choices in the future.
“The principle goal of education is to create men who are capable of doing new things, not simply of repeating what other generations have done – men who are creative, inventive and discoverers.” – Jean Piaget
My mission is to provide a student-centered, hands-on learning environment that values independent critical thinking in a safe and positive environment. Photography projects offer choices and challenges for students. To inspire students to creatively solve academic, social, and artistic problems, I focus on relevant topics for projects that integrate art and technology.
The present is our canvas. I believe that all children have talent and seek to help students realize their power by encouraging them to self-reflect while developing skills, courage, and confidence needed to succeed now.
“There is never time in the future in which we will work out our salvation. The challenge is in the moment; the time is always now.” – James Baldwin
