Go to the New York Times Photoblog and describe the image that comes up in three individual sentences using photographic compositional terms.

  1. This image right here does not follow the rule of thirds. The reason for that is because if you were to divde this image to 3 sections each, no pieces would be similar to each other. The image follows lines and shape, because the bamboo sticks in the back ground are aligned.there is lots of contrast within the image because of all the different colors of the people for example what they are wearing. there is no balance or symmetry.

  2. This image was taken on a medium shot. It follows the rule of thirds. The reason why is following the rule of thirds is because when you look at the image you focus right on the middle of the picture. This image follows shapes and lines.
